iQOO appears to be gearing up for the launch of its next flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15T, later this month. Although the company has not officially confirmed the launch date yet, the smartphone has surfaced on the China Telecom database ahead of launch recently. The listing not only revealed several key specifications but also hints that the iQOO 15T could debut on May 20. Here’s more on that.
According to the leaked China Telecom listing, the iQOO 15T will feature a large 6.82-inch OLED display. Previous reports suggest that the panel may support a 2K resolution along with a 144Hz refresh rate for a smoother viewing experience.
For photography, the phone is expected to include a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. On the rear, it may sport a dual-camera setup consisting of a 200-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel secondary camera.
Under the hood, the iQOO 15T is said to be powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset, which appears with the model number MT6993 in the China Telecom database. The smartphone is also expected to run Android 16 out of the box with OriginOS 6 layered on top.

The listing images suggest that the device will come with a flat-screen design and a raised square-shaped camera island on the back panel. Apart from that, the overall design language appears minimal and clean.
The smartphone is tipped to pack a massive 8,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging. However, reports indicate that the device may not support wireless charging.
In terms of dimensions, the iQOO 15T is said to measure 163.37 x 76.71 x 8.25mm and weigh 216 grams. The handset is expected to be available in Qingyun, Track Edition and Legendary Edition colour options.
