As officially confirmed, iQOO 15T and iQOO Pad 6 Pro are set to launch in China on May 20. Ahead of the official debut, iQOO has started teasing several key specifications and gaming-focused features of both devices through its official Weibo account. Here’s what we know about these upcoming devices so far.
According to the recently released teasers, iQOO 15T’s biggest highlight is the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 “Monster Edition” chipset. The processor has been co-developed with MediaTek and works alongside iQOO’s self-developed “Monster super-core engine” to deliver improved gaming performance.
iQOO claims the new setup can provide up to a 34 percent improvement in frame-rate stability during gaming sessions.
The smartphone will also feature the company’s latest Q3 e-sports gaming chip. This dedicated chip is said to enable advanced gaming technologies such as full-scene ray tracing, 2K super-resolution, and simultaneous 2K + 144FPS gameplay in supported games.
Apart from this, the iQOO 15T is expected to feature a large 6.82-inch flat display that uses 8T LTPO technology and supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The display will also support full-screen always-on display functionality along with hardware-level circular polarisation technology aimed at improving eye comfort during extended usage.
In terms of design, the smartphone appears to adopt a more futuristic look compared to earlier iQOO phones. Official teaser images show a transparent-style rear camera module design.
iQOO says the smartphone will feature the biggest battery ever used in one of its flagship phones packing an 8000mAh battery while still maintaining a relatively slim profile.
For photography, the iQOO 15T is confirmed to feature a 200-megapixel primary camera with CIPA 4.5-level stabilisation. The camera setup will also support 4x lossless zoom and up to 40x hybrid zoom.
The upcoming iQOO Pad 6 Pro tablet will also come with the company’s Monster super-core engine similar to the iQOO 15T.
iQOO has officially confirmed that the tablet will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The company claims that the device has achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 4.44 million points. For thermal management, the tablet uses VC+ superconducting graphite cooling with a total heat dissipation area of 71,446mm².
The iQOO Pad 6 Pro is equipped with a 4K Ultra HD gaming display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1200 nits HBM brightness, and Dolby Vision support.
The tablet is also heavily focused on gaming performance and can reportedly deliver simultaneous 4K super-resolution and 120fps gameplay during standard mode in a national-level shooting mobile game. With Monster+ mode enabled, the same game can support 4K super-resolution and 144fps simultaneous operation.
In open-world mobile games, Monster+ mode is said to enable 2.7K super-resolution with 120fps super concurrency. Moreover, iQOO has confirmed that the tablet supports 13 native 4K games.
