The upcoming iQOO 15 is now officially available for pre-order in China. The brand has also scheduled its iQOO 15 eSports Performance Technology Communication Meeting for September 23, which is most likely the day iQOO plans on launching the phone. Ahead of its full launch, the upcoming flagship has now appeared on Geekbench for the second time. The good news is, this time, the Geekbench listing of iQOO 15 shows improved CPU clock speeds. Here’s what we know.
Earlier listings of the iQOO 15 raised concerns after showing relatively low benchmark results despite being powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. The chipset was initially spotted with clock speeds lower than rivals such as the Xiaomi 17 Pro (4.61GHz) and Galaxy S26 Edge (4.74GHz).

However, the latest Geekbench entry paints a different picture. Shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by tipster Anvin @ZionsAnvin, the listing confirms that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 on iQOO 15 will feature two cores clocked at 4.61GHz and six cores at 3.63GHz, paired with the Adreno 840 GPU. The device will run on Android 16 and will also come in a 16GB RAM variant.
In terms of performance, the iQOO 15 scored 3,824 points in single-core and an impressive 12,402 points in multi-core, marking the highest multi-core score recorded so far for Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset.

Over the past week, the iQOO 15 has also been spotted on Nemko and 3C certification databases, hinting at an imminent launch. One of the most exciting rumours is that the iQOO 15 will debut a self-developed Q3 chip, enabling full-scene ray tracing in Genshin Impact. This is a feature not even Apple has implemented so far.
