iPhone 14 Pro Max is the fastest, according to Ookla

With the iPhone 14 Max Pro specifications, the phone has proven to be the best yet again in the fastest 5G category.

Which phone has the highest 5G speed in the world. Is it iPhone 14 pro max? Or some other smartphone. Well, we do not know about the world but we do know that the Apple iPhone 14 pro max is the fastest in 10 countries. How? you ask. Well, tech company Ookla conducted a test and the reports are in. Apple and Samsung look to be in the lead when it comes to smartphones that are providing users with the quickest 5G speeds, according to Ookla, on handsets that are the top 5G performance in regions with active 5G connections. The research, released on November 21st, states that Samsung led the charts in three of the top 10 examined nations with operational 5G networks, while Apple’s iPhones Max Pro topped the rankings in four of those countries. Furthermore, Apple, led by the iPhone 14 Pro Max in the US and UK markets, is present in eight of the top 10—in all markets, with the exception of China and the Philippines while Samsung is only available in at least six of the top 10 nations.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max tops the list in the US, according to the Ookla analysis, with average download speeds of 177.2 Mbps. With speeds of 171.2 Mbps, it is the best-performing 5G phone in the UK as well. However, Motorola’s Moto G 5G Plus, which recorded average 5G download rates of 358.4 Mbps, has the highest 5G speed of any handset in any market. However, Motorola is not generally associated with the top-ranking 5G smartphones. Along with Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series and the OnePlus 9 lineup, Apple’s iPhone 13 line and the upcoming iPhone 14 Max Pro models are among the list’s most reliable smartphones. It is significant to note that India is not included on this list since 5G services are currently being implemented there and are not yet reliably accessible throughout the whole nation.

Ookla evaluated the 5G performance of phones with a “market share of higher than or equal to 0.5% of all devices and a minimum sample size of 100 devices in a particular market” using its Speedtest Intelligence measures. Ookla notes that performance might differ from country to country. Testing was done using the 5G providers that were accessible in each nation.

In addition, Ookla provides a set of precise standards by which it evaluated its survey for the September quarter. According to the company’s statement, “Our investigation investigated the five 5G devices with the highest growth rates in a certain nation.” A device has to have a market share of at least 0.5 percent of all devices and a minimum sample size of 100 devices in a specific market to be included. Only 5G samples from each 5G provider in a particular nation were included in each market we looked at. Therefore, performance undoubtedly varies between networks and between nations, but this gives you an idea of what you might typically anticipate.
