Insta360 has recently introduced the Ace and Ace Pro models to its action camera series, setting new benchmarks in action photography.
These cameras, part of the Ace series, aim to rival market leaders such as the DJI Osmo Action 4 and GoPro Hero 12 Black.
Both the Ace and Ace Pro models boast a 2.4-inch flip touchscreen and lenses that are tuned by Leica.
The Ace features a Leica Summarit lens with a 1/2-inch sensor, f/2.4 aperture, and 16mm focal length, while the Ace Pro is upgraded with a larger 1/1.3-inch sensor with an f/2.6 aperture.
Video recording capabilities are impressive, with the Ace supporting up to 6K at 30fps and the Pro variant up to 8K at 24fps.
The Insta360 Ace is priced at $449.99 (about Rs 37,000), and the Ace Pro at $546.99 (~Rs 45,500).
Various accessory kits, such as the Creator Kit and Motorcycle Kit, are available, with prices reaching up to $686 (about Rs 57,200). No word currently if the models will be revealed in India.
Both Insta360 Ace and Ace Pro action cameras feature a 5nm AI processor, enhancing video editing with AI Highlights Assistant, AI Warp, and AI Selfie Stick Eraser.
These cameras are water-resistant up to 10 meters, extendable to 60 meters with a Dive Case, and equipped with a magnetic mount for easy attachment.
The Ace Pro includes a 1,650mAh battery, chargeable in 46 minutes with a 30W charger, while the Ace has a 1,700mAh battery, requiring 70 minutes to charge fully with a 15W charger. Both models offer up to 100 minutes of recording time on a single charge.
Additional features include gesture and voice control, and a Stats Dashboard for integrating GPS and speed data into videos.
