Infinix Smart 6 coming up with industry’s first antibacterial panel

Following the recent launch of Infinix Hot 11 2022, the Transsion-owned brand is geared up to unveil yet another budget-centric smartphone called the Infinix Smart 6 soon. It has now been confirmed by none other than Infinix India CEO Anish Kapoor, who in his latest tweet revealed that the Infinix Smart 6 is coming with the Industry-first back panel.

“Here the bad news: Smartphones carry 10 times more bacteria than toilet seats? Here’s the good news: Infinix SMART 6 is coming with Industry-first antibacterial back,” tweets Anish Kapoor. An average person touches their phone over 2,600 times per day, and the common types of germs found on smartphones include streptococcus, MRSA and E.coli, reads the poster image.

As per Infinix and as also mentioned in the poster image, the rear panel of the upcoming smartphone is sprayed with silver ions which make it resistant against germs. “Treating surfaces with Ionic silver can reduce the levels of contaminant bacteria by up to 95.8%,” reads the image.

If the teaser poster is to believe, the upcoming Infinix Smart 6 will arrive with a triple rear camera setup placed at the top-left corner of the rear panel. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well and the handset seems to have a sleek design.

Although the company hasn’t revealed anything regarding the launch date of the device, it’s expected that the Infinix Smart 6 could go live by the end of April in India. Interestingly, the last week of April is going to offer you a lot of surprises in the form of smartphones.
