HTech, previously known as Honor in India, is set to introduce the Honor X9b, marking its continued presence in the Indian smartphone market.
This announcement, made by the company’s head Madhav Sheth on X (formerly Twitter), follows HTech’s re-entry into India last year with the Honor 90.

While the Honor X9b is priced at CNY 1999 (approximately Rs 23,700) in China, it is expected to be priced around Rs 30,000 in the Indian market.
The exact launch date in India, however, remains unannounced.

Sheth’s social media post featured the smartphone, highlighting its notable circular camera module.
This will be the second device from HTech in India after having launched the Honor 90 last year.
It seems that the year 2024 is going to see a bevy of announcements from Honor.
As mentioned above, the Honor X9b positions itself in the mid-range segment and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.
It features a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The device offers memory configurations of 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Running on Magic UI 7.2 based on Android 13, the Honor X9b is equipped with a range of cameras, including a 108MP primary rear camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens, along with a 16MP front camera.
The smartphone houses a 5800mAh battery with 35W fast charging support.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS.
The phone also features an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security.
