The Honor Magic 6 series is gearing up for a launch in China and recent leaks have given us a glimpse into what these devices might hold.
A few days ago it was revealed that Porsche would also be involved in the design process for at least one of the handsets in the lineup.
Now a new leak on the Chinese platform Weibo has emerged giving details about the specs we can expect on the Magic 6.
The Honor Magic 6 leaks suggest an impressive quad-curved OLED display with a 3840Hz PWM dimming capability, which is not just a feast for the eyes but also comes with the advanced Oasis eye-protection feature.
Apart from this the display is also said to be fortified with Honor’s Jurhino display protection glass, enhancing its resistance to drops and impacts.
Under the hood, the Magic 6 is expected to house the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with a robust 5,800mAh Qinghai Lake battery.
The battery life is further complemented by 66W fast charging, a feature confirmed by the 3C certification.
Rumours are also rife about wireless charging capabilities with the Magic 6 expected to be equipped with a dedicated security chip and a radio frequency enhancement chip C1, alongside the intriguing prospect of satellite communication support.
Apart from all the internal hardware, the device is also expected to sport a triple rear camera array, featuring a 50MP main camera with variable aperture and OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera.
Operating on the Magic 8.0-based Android 14, the Magic 6 is also said to boast an IP68-rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis.
As mentioned in the beginning, the Honor Magic 6 Porsche Design model was spotted earlier last week.
It showcases a striking dual-tone exterior with red/maroon and black leather finishes.
The back panel features a central, circular camera module set against the red leather section, accompanied by the distinct Honor Porsche Design branding positioned towards the bottom in the black leather area.
This model is equipped with triple rear cameras and a horizontal LED flash, neatly housed within the camera module.
For added convenience, the volume rockers and power buttons are situated on the right side of the handset.
