Tech giant Google is likely planning to unveil its much-anticipated mid-range smartphone, the Google Pixel 7a, at the I/O developer conference on May 10th. However, ahead of that, the upcoming smartphone’s renders and official cases have been leaked, which indicates the design and colour options of the Google Pixel 7a.
According to a report by WinFuture.de, with its Google Tensor G2 octa-core processor, the phone has much of the same tech as last year’s Google Pixel 7 series flagship phones. Google is rumoured to launch a new Pixel series smartphone – the Google Pixel 7a at Google I/O. To those unaware, the Google I/O 2023 Edition will commence on May 10.
The upcoming Google Pixel 7a will be a mid-range offering from the Mountain View tech giant, similar to its predecessor.

The leaked renders once again confirm that the Google Pixel 7a will launch in three colour options – Grey, Blue, and White. A couple of weeks ago, the first look of the device along with all three colour options was revealed.
The Google Pixel 7a will come with the same design language as that of the predecessor – Pixel 6a. This means that the handset will offer a full-screen display with a centered punch-hole notch. The back panel of the device will feature a Visor-shaped camera module, similar to the Pixel 6a and other Pixel 7 series smartphones.
The Google Pixel 7a will have three official cases as revealed in the latest leak. For each colour of the Pixel 7a, Google will reportedly launch a case. The Google Pixel 7a cases will have a horizontal cutout for the visor-shaped camera and a Google logo can also be seen.
The company is yet to share details about the upcoming Google Pixel 7a. However, as per recent reports, the phone might be priced at $499 (approx Rs 41,000).
The Google Pixel 7a is rumoured to offer a 90Hz OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The upcoming Pixel smartphone might be powered by a Tensor G2 chipset. It is said to come paired with 8GB of memory and 256GB of onboard storage. The handset will come pre-loaded with Android 13.
The Google Pixel 7a will offer a dual-rear camera setup which might include a 64MP camera setup. The handset is rumoured to offer a 10.8MP front camera. It will also be the first affordable Pixel smartphone with wireless charging support. The Google Pixel 7a is tipped to cost $499 (roughly Rs 40,920), which is $50 more than its predecessor.
