As an alternative, it will save the written email in the “Outbox” folder and send it as soon as the user is connected again. Google advises users to bookmark Gmail on their Chrome browsers so they may use the service even when they are offline.

Visit or click the Chrome bookmark you made for Gmail offline to access Gmail when you aren’t online.  When you send emails while disconnected from the internet, they are saved in a special “Outbox” folder and even sent as immediately as you get online again.
