Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s father Errol Musk is on a five-day visit to India. According to PTI, he was recently appointed to the Global Advisory Board of the Indian company Servotech. During his trip, he’s expected to attend business meetings, meet top officials and also visit the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya as part of his cultural itinerary.

Earlier this month, Elon Musk’s mother Maye Musk also visited India to promote her book A Woman Makes a Plan. During her trip, she stopped by the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai with actor Jacqueline Fernandez and even celebrated her 77th birthday in the city.
Elon Musk sent her flowers for the occasion, which Maye shared on X, saying, “Thank you @elonmusk for sending these beautiful birthday flowers to me in Mumbai.”
One of the key highlights of his visit is a stop at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, where he’ll seek blessings from Shree Ram Lalla. The visit reflects his interest in India’s spiritual and cultural traditions.
Errol will also attend a major event hosted by Servotech on June 2, where he is set to meet with officials from multiple ministries. He’s expected to discuss India’s goals in green technology and EV charging infrastructure, while also touring Servotech’s solar and EV charger manufacturing plant in Safiabad, Haryana. Several state ministers and senior bureaucrats are expected to be part of these meetings.
To promote sustainability, Servotech is organising a plantation drive on World Environment Day (June 5) as part of Errol’s visit.
Errol Musk joined Servotech’s Global Advisory Board on May 5. The company said he will provide strategic guidance across areas like technology, renewable energy and infrastructure development.
After his India visit, Errol will head to South Africa.
