Apple is anticipated to debut the 10th generation Apple Watch in 2025 or later this year. It may go by the name “Apple Watch X” as a nod to the original 10th iPhone, which was also known by that name.
There is a great deal of excitement surrounding this release, and idea designs are already being created by outside designers.
Designer Lukas Gehrer of the German design firm Wordsmattr has one striking idea. The design is extravagant and playful, imagining the Apple Watch X to resemble the Apple Watch Ultra 2, except the curved and slimmer black titanium edges.
Two unique aspects of Gehrer’s creative design for the Apple Watch X are a blood pressure sensor and an integrated camera for FaceTime video conversations.
Future Apple Watches are expected to include a blood pressure sensor, but a built-in camera for FaceTime would be a completely novel and impressive feature.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg said in September of last year that there might be a big redesign for the Apple Watches this year. It is unclear if any of the proposed features—such as the blood pressure sensor or camera—will be implemented.
Gurman expresses hope that in addition to a potential blood pressure monitor, Apple may also introduce a blood sugar monitor to the Apple Watch lineup for the first time with the Apple Watch X release.
While it’s uncertain if the real Apple Watch X will look anything like this bold concept, it’s exciting to speculate about what new capabilities and design changes a major 10th generation Apple Watch release could bring.
The Apple Watch X is anticipated to debut either later this year or by 2025, marking a significant milestone as potentially the 10th generation of the Apple Watch.
Designer concepts for the Apple Watch X include innovative features like a blood pressure sensor and an integrated camera for FaceTime calls, which would be new to the Apple Watch series.
The concept design by Lukas Gehrer imagines the Apple Watch X with slimmer, curved black titanium edges, giving it a more refined and futuristic look compared to current models.
Beyond a blood pressure sensor, there is speculation about the inclusion of a blood sugar monitor, which would be a first for the Apple Watch, significantly enhancing its health monitoring capabilities.
While specific features like the blood pressure sensor and FaceTime camera are based on leaks and designer speculation, official details have not been confirmed by Apple as of now.
