Apple might soon launch new Beats wireless earbuds and these could be called the Beats Studio Buds+. While the exact timeline for the announcement is unclear, it is expected to happen in the coming weeks.

The TWS earbuds have received the IMDA certification and will arrive as an upgrade to the Studio Buds, which launched way back in 2021. The new Studio Buds+ will also come as a premium offering and should offer all the unique Beats features. The listing, as spotted by MySmartPrice showed the earbuds will have the model numbers A2872 and A2871.

Apple might launch new Beats wireless earbuds soon. The company is expected to launch a new pair of truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds called the Beats Studio Buds+ in the coming weeks. At the moment, the company has not confirmed any details about the launch of the new Beats earbuds.

However, the launch seems imminent as the TWS earbuds have cleared the IMDA certification. The new Studio Buds+ is expected to be an upgraded version of the Studio Buds, which was launched in 2021.

Apple is yet to announce any details about the earbuds. Meanwhile, let’s take a look at the Beats Studio Buds+ listing on the IMDA certification website along with the details revealed so far.

Beats Studio Buds+ spotted on IMDA Certification

The Beats earbuds were also spotted on the FCC website, as spotted by Twitter user Aaron. Additionally, the Studio Buds+ were earlier spotted in the internal files of iOS 16.4 by 9to5Mac.

Based on the source code, Studio Buds+ will support audio sharing, automatic device switching, and ‘Hey Siri’ as well. There will be a dedicated Beats chip, similar to Apple’s audio products like AirPods Pro.

The use of a custom Beats chip means that there are chances that users might miss out on some useful features of AirPods and AirPods Pro, and PowerBeats Pro. But on the bright side, the Beats Studio Buds+ might work with both Android and iOS devices. The Buds+ earbuds are likely to have support for media controls.

Unfortunately, not much else is known about the earbuds at the moment but these will be different from what Apple offers with AirPods, be it design, features, and entire product language. We’re hoping to learn more details about the Beats Studio Buds+ in the days to come.
