Custom AZ3 and AZ3 Pro Chips
The devices are powered by Amazon’s new AZ3 and AZ3 Pro processors. The Echo Dot Max runs on AZ3, which improves wake-word detection by 50%, filters background noise, and powers Amazon’s most advanced microphone system yet. The Echo Studio, Echo Show 8, and Echo Show 11 use the faster AZ3 Pro chip, enabling advanced language models and vision transformers for smarter, quicker responses.
All four models also feature Omnisense, a sensor system that combines a 13MP camera, radar, audio, accelerometers, and Wi-Fi signals to detect activities at home.
