Apple 2023 lineup has something for every Apple enthusiast as the Cupertino giant is planning on refreshing some of its high-selling products. We will most likely get an updated iPhone 15 series, an updated version of the Apple Macbook Pro, a couple of refreshed iPads, Apple VR headsets, Homepod, Airpod Max, and Apple Watch Series 9.
With so much to look forward to in 2023, the rumours around all upcoming products from Apple have somewhat set the expectations for each launch in the market. So, let’s discuss what all apple products to expect in 2023 in detail.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro
This is completely in line with the tradition of Apple unveiling an updated iPhone successor every year in September. The iPhone 15 series will most likely include an iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro and if rumours are to be believed an iPhone 15 Plus, and an iPhone 15 Pro Max, which can also be named as iPhone 15 Ultra.
Although we have no confirmed update about the design of the iPhone 2023, it has been widely speculated that the 15 series will have a MacBook Pro 14 and 16 2021 edition style rounded edges in the back. Moreover, with Apple’s focus on 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screen sizes only, we can expect the same to be explored in the upcoming unveiling as well.
MacBook Pro – 14-inch and 16-inch variants
In 2023, we are expecting to finally get the refreshed models for both 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pro versions. The focus is more likely to be on the chip than on design or any other feature. Apple is expected to unveil upgraded M2 Pro and the M2 Max silicon chips in the 2023 MacBook versions.
The current models are working on the M1 Pro and the m1 Max chips. As per speculations, the M2 Max chip will be a 12-core CPU and up to 16-core GPU, although nothing has been confirmed by the brand itself.
Apple AR/VR Headsets 2023
So much has been discussed about the Apple AR/VR sets but it appears we are finally inching close to the unveiling in 2023. Since launching the first Apple Watch in 2015, this will be Apple’s second foray into a different category of wearables and it will be extremely interesting to witness how the brand performs in a new segment.
The AR/VR headsets, which will be a combination of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, will basically overlay virtual objects into the real world and make them appear real. As per rumours, Apple could name this product either Reality Pro or Reality One.
iPad Lineup of 2023
2023 may introduce a new iPad mini and an iPad Air. On one hand, we have the iPad mini that hasn’t had an updated version released in the market since 2021, and on the other hand, we have the iPad Air that will most likely get the latest M2 chip this year.
With such uneven product updates, it is widely speculated that Apple is planning on erasing all the gaps between the two iPad variants.
As for official confirmation, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has already confirmed that the launch of a new and updated version of the iPad mini can be expected to hit the market by late 2023 or early 2024.
Apple HomePod
If Apple’s analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is to be believed, 2023 could be the year when we get a new HomePod sized somewhere between the HomePod mini and the original HomePod.
Speculations suggest an early 2023 launch, these are likely to be an expensive version of HomePods and are likely to come with a touch-integrated display and an S8 chip.
AirPods Max 2023
AirPods Max is another product that Apple has not updated since 2020 despite tech bloggers speculating about a launch during every Apple event. Rumours are again doing rounds for this year.
A recent online tip revealed that the 2023 version of AirPods Max will most likely function on an H2 chip.
The product is also expected to have high-end features such as updated Active Noise Cancellation functionality, a U1 chip for better “Find My” capabilities, Adaptive Transparency and Bluetooth v5.3.
Apple Watch Series 9
Apple refreshing the watch every year has also become customary just like the iPhone. The brand is expected to unveil the Apple Watch Series 9 by September 2023.
There aren’t too many tips or rumours doing rounds in the market when it comes to the next watch series, so there is not much to reveal at this point. However, it is common knowledge in the industry that Apple is in the process of coming up with new fitness feature sensors for better monitoring of blood glucose and blood pressure.
