The outage affected a large number of Airtel customers nationwide. According to Downdetector.com, a website that tracks service outages, users reported 46% facing a total blackout, 32% experiencing no signal and 22% encountering mobile connectivity issues.

“We are sorry for the hassle you had to face. We value our customer’s feedback to improve our services. We will make sure that the incident will not be repeated. There’s an outage in your area which will be resolved by 2:22:06 PM today. Thank you, Ajay S,” the company stated.
