A bus caught fire in Delhi’s Molarband area near Badarpur on Thursday. As per media reports, no injuries were reported.

A video of the incident shows a blue car fully engulfed in flames near a government school. Thick black smoke rose from the vehicle, creating panic among onlookers. The fire spread quickly, with flames visible from a distance.

Man Sets Himself On Fire Near Parliament

In a separate incident on Wednesday, a man set himself on fire near the Parliament building in New Delhi. The individual was identified as Jitendra from Baghpat Uttar Pradesh. He was soon rescued and rushed to RML Hospital for treatment.

The incident happened near the Rail Bhavan roundabout, prompting police to cordon off the area. According to a statement by the Delhi Police, “The local police, railway police and some civilians immediately extinguished the fire, and the person was sent to the hospital.”

Preliminary investigations suggest the act may be linked to a personal dispute in Jitendra’s hometown. “The issue, as we can decipher, is probably related to personal enmity in Baghpat. Further investigation is on,” police added.

The area remains under close surveillance as officials continue their probe into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
