Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is planning to launch the Vivo S17 series, which will include the Vivo S17, Vivo S17e, and Vivo S17 Pro. However, ahead of that, the Vivo S17e has been listed on the official website, where some of its specifications and price have been revealed.
As per the listing which was spotted by tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming phone will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset and will be priced under CNY 2,500, which is arounf Rs 30,000. Some other key specifications of the upcoming smartphone have also been revealed by DCS.
Vivo is gearing up to launch a new device in the Vivo S series. The Chinese smartphone maker is soon expected to launch the Vivo S17e mid-range device under its Vivo S17 series. Ahead of the official launch, the device was reportedly listed on the official site and complete details of the device including full specifications, price, and images were leaked.
The information has been reported by ITHome and according to the source, the Vivo device was spotted by Digital Chat Station account, who is a well-known tipster on the Weibo platform. Over the past few weeks, the device was spotted on Google Play Console and 3C Certification websites revealing details of the device. The listing is no longer available on Vivo’s official site, here are the specs revealed by what occurs to be an accidental listing.
Vivo S17e Listed on Official Site
According to the official listing, the Vivo S17e will sport a 6.78-inch OLED screen with a centre punch-hole camera cut-out. The device will feature a Full HD+ resolution and support up to 120Hz screen refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will come with Dimensity 7200 SoC and the phone will come with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It will be available in three configurations 一 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB.
Further, the phone will feature a 4,600mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. In the camera department, the phone is said to feature a 64MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera. The phone will measure 7.4mm thick. In terms of pricing, the device is listed for CNY 2499, which is around Rs 29,500 approx. The device is expected to be officially announced soon in India and might later arrive in other regions as well.
The phone has the model number V2285A, according to the Google Play Console listing and is expected to run on Android 13 OS. Other expected features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, 32MP selfie snapper, and 5G connectivity.
Recently, the upcoming smartphone was spotted with the “V2285A” model number in the list of Google Play supported devices. Also, a phone with the model number V2285A passed the 3C quality test. Looking at the certifications as well as leaked information, it looks like the smartphone’s launch is imminent.
