Xiaomi 18 Pro Global Variant vs China Variant: Expected Differences

Both variants pack in flagship specs, including the top-end CPU and Leica camera technology. However, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Global Variant varies significantly from the China Variant in battery capacity, charging, software and connection. The 18 Pro Global Variant is capped at 6,000 mAh battery and 90W fast charging, whereas the Chinese version supports a 7,000 mAh battery and 100W charging due to international shipping safety requirements and regional regulatory limits.
On the software side, the 18 Pro Global Variant ships with HyperOS, Google Mobile Services and Google Play Store out of the box, along with extensive international language choices, while the Chinese ROM depends on localised applications and domestic services, with no Google frameworks pre-installed. The Global Variant also adds network compatibility for additional international 4G and 5G cellular bands.
