Xiaomi has announced to launch its flagship 18 Pro series globally in November 2026. The upcoming flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, were recently launched in China and are now set to expand into global markets. The teaser reveals the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will have a Leica camera design and a secondary rear AMOLED display alongside enhanced privacy screen technology.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro series features Leica co-engineered optics and colour science, extending Xiaomi’s flagship partnership with Leica. It has specialised glass elements, an ultraclear aperture system (f/1.67 on the primary camera) and a bespoke photo processing, including the “Legendary Moment” AI profile, with the module’s iconic Leica emblem highlighted.
The camera comes in a triple-lens setup paired with a new secondary back display (2.7-inch for the Pro and 2.9-inch for the Pro Max).

The Xiaomi 18 Pro will have a 6.4-inch main display and a 2.7-inch outer cover screen. It runs on Android 17 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 CPU with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. For photography, it is said to include a high-end Leica-tuned triple camera array, led by two 200MP sensors and a 50MP sensor, paired with a 50MP front camera. Its domestic Chinese counterpart has a bigger battery with 100W charging, while the global Xiaomi 18 Pro is rumoured to have a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging.
According to Xiaomi, the worldwide version of the 18 Pro would use the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series chipsets as their Chinese variant. One of the primary distinctions between the Chinese and international versions may be battery capacity. The worldwide Xiaomi 18 Pro may have a 6,000mAh battery in contrast to the Chinese model’s 7,000mAh battery.

Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor that offers high-performance computing together with Android 17-based HyperOS software. The device boasts a 6.90-inch primary OLED display with a resolution of 1,208×2,624 pixels and a 2.90-inch cover display. The worldwide model has an 8,500mAh battery cell, a triple rear camera configuration: 200 MP main, 200 MP telephoto, 50 MP ultrawide camera and a 50 MP selfie camera.
Xiaomi 18 Pro Series Global Availability
The Xiaomi 18 Pro series will have a broad worldwide rollout, with key initial target areas including Europe, the United Kingdom, and Southeast Asia. The 18 Pro series was not included in the original mainland launch, however, certification files and leaks have suggested that Xiaomi is planning to launch the series range straight in India.
Following its home market launch in China on September 23, 2026, global regional certificates have already begun to appear, including the UAE’s TDRA and Thailand’s NBTC. The worldwide rollout, including debuts in European and Asian markets, is scheduled to start before the end of Q4 2026, with availability in India predicted between late November and December 2026.
