Vivo is reportedly working on its next-gen camera flagship smartphone, the Vivo X500 Ultra. According to the latest leak, the Vivo X500 Ultra could feature a triple rear camera setup with two 50-megapixel sensors and a 200-megapixel sensor. Vivo is reportedly testing a separate S-series smartphone as well with a 68-megapixel front camera and a square camera design.

According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, Vivo’s upcoming Ultra smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset will feature a 50-megapixel front camera.
On the rear, the device is tipped to include three cameras including a 50-megapixel sensor, another 50-megapixel sensor and a 200-megapixel sensor. While the tipster has not confirmed the exact role of each camera, the 200-megapixel sensor is expected to be used for telephoto photography.
The leak does not explicitly name the smartphone but the specifications suggest that it could be the Vivo X500 Ultra.
