OnePlus could be preparing to launch another budget smartphone in India, just weeks after introducing the OnePlus N6x. According to a new leak, the company is planning a new 4G-only smartphone for the Indian market next month. Although OnePlus has not officially confirmed any of these details yet, here’s what we know regarding this upcoming device so far.
OnePlus’ India-Only Next 4G Smartphone Expected in September
Tipster Yogesh Brar @heyitsyogesh has claimed in a post on X that OnePlus is planning to introduce a new budget 4G smartphone in India in September.
According to the tipster, the handset will be launched exclusively in the Indian market similar to the company’s recent N series budget smartphones. The tipster also claims that the upcoming 4G handset could be OnePlus’ final product launch in India this year.

If the information turns out to be accurate, it could be the company’s first 4G smartphone launch in India this year as its other offerings feature 5G and 4G LTE connectivity.
However, OnePlus has not confirmed the existence of the new smartphone, so the leaked information should be treated with caution.
The upcoming smartphone could also take over from the recently launched OnePlus N6x as the company’s next budget-focused smartphone. The OnePlus N6x was launched in India last month at the starting price of Rs 18,999 for the base model of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
