The Vivo V80 Lite 5G could be nearing its launch as the upcoming smartphone has appeared on Geekbench with key hardware and software details. The latest listing also suggests that Vivo may be preparing multiple variants of the phone for different markets. The smartphone was previously spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform and was later listed on the Google Play Supported Devices List. Here’s more on the recent Geekbench listing.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G Spotted on Geekbench

According to a tipster Anvin @ZionsAnvin on X, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G with model number V2643 has appeared on Geekbench. The smartphone scored 1,025 points in the single-core test and 2,871 points in the multi-core test.
The Geekbench listing mentions the MediaTek MT6878 chipset, which is believed to be the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo. The processor is listed with four cores clocked at 2.50GHz and four cores running at 2.00GHz and paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU.
The listed Vivo V80 Lite 5G variant has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 16 out of the box.
The same tipster also claims that the V2626, V2643 and V2644 model numbers are associated with the Vivo V80 Lite 5G branding.
Notably, the V2626 model had already appeared on Geekbench with similar specifications. The device was also listed with Android 16, although the earlier listing mentioned the MediaTek MT6858 processor.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G Could Be Based on Vivo S2
The Vivo V80 Lite 5G has already appeared on several certification and database listings, suggesting that its launch could be getting closer.
On the Google Play Supported Devices List, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G appeared with model numbers V2643, V2644 and V2576. Interestingly, the V2576 model number is also associated with the Vivo S2. This has led to speculation that the Vivo V80 Lite 5G could be a rebranded version of the Vivo S2 in some global markets.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G Design Leaked
An earlier exclusive report by PassionateGeekz also claimed that Vivo S2 could launch globally under the Vivo V80 Lite 5G name. The report included an image of the alleged phone, showing a design that closely resembles the Vivo S2.

The leaked design showed the phone in a blue finish with a curved display and a horizontal camera arrangement on the rear. Moreover, a leaked promotional poster for the Vivo V80 Lite 5G also revealed the phone’s name along with the tagline “Slay Every Edge.”
However, Vivo has not officially confirmed whether the V80 Lite 5G and Vivo S2 are the same smartphone. The company has also yet to announce the launch date, pricing or complete specifications of the Vivo V80 Lite 5G.
