Oppo has officially started confirming the global launch dates of its Oppo Reno 16 series. The lineup was introduced in China in May 2026 and the brand has now confirmed that the Reno 16 family will launch in Indonesia on July 3 and in Malaysia on July 8.
Dedicated microsites on Oppo Malaysia and Indonesia websites have already gone live and reveal key details about the upcoming smartphones. In the official launch date posters, Oppo is also promoting the new smartphone lineup in partnership with K-pop group Baby Monster.

OPPO Reno 16 Series Global Launch Details
Official teasers confirm that the global Reno 16 lineup will include three models including the OPPO Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro and Reno 16F. All three smartphones are currently available for pre-orders in both Malaysia and Indonesia.
The Reno 16 will be available in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB storage options. Buyers will be able to choose between Pop White and Twilight Violet colour variants.
The Oppo Reno 16 Pro, on the other hand, will be offered in a single 12GB + 512GB configuration and will come in Pop White and Starlight Black colour options.
As for Reno 16F, it will be positioned as the most affordable model in the lineup. It will be available in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants and will be offered in Dream Purple, Pop White, and Twilight Violet colours.
As part of the launch campaign, Oppo is offering special Baby Monster-themed gifts with Reno 16 series purchases in these markets. Alongside the smartphones, the company will also introduce the Bubble accessory, a compact display attachment designed to fit on the back of Reno 16 series devices.

According to an exclusive 91Mobiles report based on information shared by tipster Yogesh Brar, Oppo is preparing to launch the Reno 16 and Reno 16c in India. While the Reno 16 is already part of the global lineup, the Reno 16c would be a new model to enter the Indian market.
The Reno 16c is expected to be based on the Reno 16F and could serve as the most affordable model in the series. Unlike the compact Reno 16, the Reno 16c is expected to feature a larger form factor.
Based on previously leaked Reno 16F specifications, the Reno 16c could arrive with a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
