ZTE announced several new devices at MWC this year, including the Nubia Neo 3 and Neo 3 GT budget gaming smartphones. The brand also globally launched the ZTE Nubia Flip2 foldable and two camera-focused phones, the Nubia Focus 2 and Focus 2 Ultra. But that’s not all, the company also showcased its latest gaming tablet, including the Red Magic Pad 3D Explorer Edition. Here’s all we know about the new devices.
The Nubia Neo 3 and Neo 3 GT are designed for budget-conscious gamers, yet they pack impressive features like touch-sensitive shoulder triggers and large 120Hz displays.
Nubia Neo 3 – Runs on a Unisoc T8300 chipset and features a 6.8-inch 120Hz display. Battery capacity varies by market, offering either 5,200mAh or 6,000mAh with 33W fast charging.
Nubia Neo 3 GT – Upgrades to a Unisoc T9100 chipset with a 4,082mm² vapor chamber for better cooling. It also gets an OLED display while keeping the same 6.8-inch, 120Hz size. The battery is 5,000mAh or 6,000mAh, depending on the region.
Nubia Focus 2 – Equipped with a 108MP main camera and a 6.7-inch display. AI-powered features like AI Sport Snapshot enhance photo quality.
Nubia Focus 2 Ultra – Steps up with a larger 1/1.55-inch sensor and f/1.47 aperture for improved low-light performance. It sports a 6.8-inch OLED 120Hz display, a 5,000mAh battery and 33W charging. A unique rotating bezel around the camera bump allows users to zoom in and out smoothly.
First announced in January, the Nubia Flip2 is now going global. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC and features a 6.9-inch 120Hz foldable OLED display. Expected to be one of the most affordable foldable phones outside China, it starts at €699 for the 8GB/128GB variant.
ZTE also introduced the Red Magic Pad 3D Explorer Edition, a powerful gaming tablet under the Red Magic brand. It features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 12.1-inch display and a massive 10,000mAh battery.
What sets this tablet apart is its glasses-free 3D display, which uses AI to convert 2D images and videos into 3D. Previously known as the Nubia Pad 3D II, this tablet offers an immersive experience without needing special eyewear.
