Xiaomi has officially announced the extension of its wearable portfolio in Japan with the launch of the Xiaomi Smart Band 11. The new fitness tracker is a massive boost on its predecessor with an ultra-bright 2,000-nit AMOLED display, better battery life of up to 21 days, dynamic HyperOS integration and upgraded health tracking sensors in an ultra-thin frame.

Xiaomi’s Smart Band 11 is now officially available for purchase in Japan via the company’s official website, local retail partners and e-commerce platforms. The regular aluminium version is competitively priced, and there’s a premium Ceramic Edition for those who care more about appearance.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 has a vibrant 1.72-inch AMOLED touch screen in a pill shape with crisp 212 x 212 pixel resolution and a smooth 60Hz refresh rate. The display sports 2.0mm ultra-thin symmetrical bezels with a peak local brightness of 2,000 nits (1,500 nits in High Brightness Mode). It is paired with an ambient light sensor for auto-brightness so the display is easy to read even in direct outside sunshine.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 is powered by a 233mAh High Density Graphite battery and offers an amazing battery life in a tiny form factor. If you use the lights sparingly, it can hold a charge for up to 21 days on a single charge. Under typical daily usage settings, users may expect up to 10 days of continuous use or about 6 days of use with Always-On Display (AOD) activated. The device’s magnetic fast charging can fully charge it in just 90 minutes.

The Smart Band 11 utilises the improved Photodiode (PD) module from Xiaomi for better accuracy in heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring around the clock. It provides automated alarms for low SpO2 and abnormal heart rate, improved sleep quality analysis with personalised rest recommendations, all-day stress tracking, guided breathing exercises and full women’s health cycle tracking.
Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Supports 150+ Sports Modes and 5ATM Water Resistance
With Xiaomi Smart Band 11, sports lovers may choose from over 150 sports modes for indoor and outdoor workouts. The tracker now has improved heart rate monitoring underwater for swimsuits and can broadcast heart rate to third-party fitness applications and cycle computers over Bluetooth in real-time. With 5ATM water resistance (50 meters), it is completely capable for swimming in the pool, running in the rain and sports in shallow water.
Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Works With iPhones and Android Phones
The Smart Band 11 runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS platform, which means it is cross-platform compatible. The Mi Fitness app connects to it easily over Bluetooth 5.4 and smartphones with Android 8.0 or iOS 14.0 and above. iOS users also benefit from better connectivity with the Apple ecosystem, with the ability to manage short-form video, e-book page flips, and presentation slides right from their wrist.
Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Design and Ceramic Edition
The Smart Band 11 has a slender frame, is just 9.99mm thick and weighs just 15.58g (without strap). Xiaomi has updated the quick-release strap lugs to move them down and close the space between the band and wrist by 10% for a more ergonomic fit. The basic edition has a sandblasted aluminium alloy frame in Midnight Black, Glacier Silver and Mystic Rose. Xiaomi has released a luxury Ceramic Edition in Pearl White (21.45g) with a sturdy fluororubber strap.

Will Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Launch in India?
Xiaomi has not announced an official launch date for the Smart Band 11 in India, however, it has been launched in Japan, China and other European nations. Reports suggest that Xiaomi’s fitness tracker may likely launch in India in the next month, possibly under a competitive sub-Rs 4,000 price tag.
