Xiaomi Redmi is preparing to expand its audio portfolio with the launch of new over-ear wireless headphones. After introducing products like the Redmi Buds 8 series earlier this year, the company is now expected to unveil the Redmi Headphones Neo globally. Here’s what we know about this so far.
Redmi Headphones Neo have been spotted in listing of not one but two e-commerce websites, Diglex Electronics and Lazada. Based on the details in these listings, it is confirmed that the Redmi Headphones Neo will feature 40mm titanium-coated drivers capable of delivering a wide frequency response range of 20Hz to 40kHz.
The headphones are also expected to support up to 42dB of active noise cancellation (ANC) offering an immersive listening experience.
For connectivity, the device will come with Bluetooth 5.4 support. One of the key highlights is the battery life, which is claimed to last up to 72 hours when ANC is turned off making it a strong option for extended usage.
The Redmi Headphones Neo are expected to launch initially in Obsidian Black and Sand White colour options.
A listing on Lazada suggests a price of PHP 3,299 (approximately $55), down from an original price of PHP 4,299 (around $70) in the Philippines. Meanwhile, Diglex Electronics has listed the headphones at $36.70 but this price applies to bulk orders with a minimum quantity of 100 units.
These early listings indicate that Xiaomi’s upcoming headphones will likely target the budget segment rather than compete with premium offerings.
While the official launch date has not been confirmed yet but retailer listings suggest that a Mist Blue variant could arrive later in September 2026. This hints that the Obsidian Black and Sand White models may debut globally within the next few months.
