Xiaomi has introduced the Pad 7 Nano Texture Display Edition in India with sales beginning on February 18, 2025. This edition is a premium upgrade over the standard Xiaomi Pad 7, which launched last month but lacks the nano texture display. Here’s everything we know about the device.
Xiaomi Pad 7 tablet features an 11.2-inch CrystalRes display with a 3.2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 800 nits HBM brightness. It also includes HydroTouch technology allowing smooth touch response even with wet hands. The display holds TUV Rheinland Triple certification for blue light reduction.
This version of the Pad 7 comes with a Nano Texture Display, designed to reduce glare and improve outdoor visibility. The screen has a nanometer-scale textured surface that scatters light and minimises reflections. An anti-reflective coating further enhances clarity.
Xiaomi claims this reduces glare by 99% and reflectivity by 65%, making it more comfortable for long hours of use and reducing eye strain.
Under the hood, the Pad 7 Nano Texture Edition is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. It runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 and packs an 8,850mAh battery with 45W Turbocharging.
The tablet weighs 500g and has a 6.18mm slim design.
For cameras, it includes a 13MP rear sensor and an 8MP front camera. The tablet supports Workstation Mode for multitasking, AI-driven app optimisations and NFC-based Tap to Share for quick file transfers. It also features quad Dolby Atmos speakers and has an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.
According to the microsite on Amazon, the Pad 7 Nano Texture Edition is available in Graphite Grey, Sage Green and Mirage Purple colours. Xiaomi is also offering optional accessories like the Focus Pen and Focus Keyboard, which are sold separately.
Pre-orders start on February 18 at 12 PM IST. The tablet will be available on Amazon, mi.com and Xiaomi retail stores for ₹32,999 along with a ₹1,000 discount on select bank transactions.
