Xiaomi launches Mi Band 7 Pro, may also arrive in India

Xiaomi has unveiled the premium version of the Mi Band 7 that was launched in May. Named Mi Band 7 Pro, the newly launched device resembles like a smartwatch. Featuring a 1.64-inch rectangular AMOLED display along with a 326ppi pixel density, the Mi Band 7 Pro comes with the GPS support to offer location-based tracking without relying on the smartphone.

The design of this latest band has a rectangular screen while the first band launched by Xiaomi was an oval. Furthermore, the size of the display has also increased dramatically, and the effective display content is also significantly larger. Currently available in China, the Mi Band 7 Pro is expected to be launched in India soon.

Price and availability of Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro

Available at an introductory price of CNY 379 (around Rs4,500) till July 7, the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro is actually priced at CNY 399 (roughly Rs. 4,700). The brand has launched the Mi Band 7 Pro in various colour options, including Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, and White colour variants.

Specifications of Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro

A 1.64-inch rectangular AMOLED display with a resolution of 280×456 pixels and 326ppi pixel density, the smart band has a 2.5D glass on top for protection. An always-on display, in-built GPS to track locations without requiring a smartphone are other prominent features of the Mi Band 7 Pro.

The Mi Band 7 Pro supports more than 180 watch faces.  Coming to the features related to fitness, the Mi Band 7 Pro offers 117 exercise modes, including 14 professional sports modes. Blood-oxygen tracking, sleep tracker, step count, calorie count are among other prominent health features of the Mi Band 7 Pro.

Talking about the battery, the Mi Band 7 Pro is equipped with a 235mAh battery, which promises to offer up to 12 days usages on a single charge. Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity, NFC support and Xiao AI voice assistant are offered for connectivity options. The smart band features a 5ATM water-resistant design.

Additionally, the device will have a quick-release strap design, can be very easy to disassemble the upper and lower strap, and convenient replacement for different styles.

Xiaomi’s Mi band series dominates the fitness tracker space with its amazing features and affordability. The line-up made a debut in 2014 and has not stopped offering an impressive set of fitness tracking features and that too at crazy affordable prizes. Last year Xiaomi unveiled the Band 6 which was a super upgraded version of the Mi Band 5.
