Xiaomi brings in Mi TV Webcam for PCs, smart TVs in India

Xiaomi today introduced Mi TV Webcam in India. It’s a perfect TV accessory to cater to the consumers’ requirement of video conferencing in today’s digital world, at much ease. Flaunting a minimalist design, it has been designed to offer an immersive video experience with a crisp FHD (1080p) resolution.

The Mi TV Webcam is here to make a better connection with your loved ones. The webcam offers crisp and detailed videos in Full HD at 25fps with 71 degrees field of view, boasting an enhanced and clear picture quality. This further makes sure that the entire family at work/home gets in a single frame with ease.

With the screen time getting doubled with work-from-home and online education, the Mi TV Webcam comes equipped with Dual Far Field microphones that capture crystal clear audio up to 4 meters, marking a safe and comfortable distance between the screen and the consumers. To further ensure best-in-class experience, the webcam has an in-built 3D Image Noise Reduction algorithm to suppress noise in any image appearing in low light.

Alongside its effortless usage, it is equally easy to set up the webcam with a ‘Simple Plug and Play video’ mechanism. The new Mi TV Webcam sports an adjustable magnetic base that allows one to attach the device seamlessly to any metal surface on your TV/computer and makes sure for a sturdy grip. It comes with a 1.5m removable USB Type-C port that assures connectivity across all TVs, laptops and desktops, and allows interchange between Type-C and Type-A cables to connect.

With video calls on your smart TV with Google Duo, the Mi TV Webcam helps in making the distance feel just a little less distant. All Mi TVs, Redmi TVs, Android TVs and all laptops (Running Windows and MacOS) are compatible with the device.

From personal virtual gatherings to professional business meetings, this extended Mi TV accessory is here to make consumers’ lives easier and smoother. With consumer privacy being a top priority at Mi India, this webcam comes with a physical shutter, adding an extra layer of safety offering complete security to users.

The Mi TV Webcam will be available for a retail price of Rs 1,999 starting June 28 across Mi.com, Mi Home and Mi Studio.
