Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will launch in China later this month. It has recently teased one of the phone’s biggest design features, which is a rear display integrated into the camera module. And now, Xiaomi 18 Pro has also appeared on Geekbench revealing some key details about its processor, RAM and Android version.  Here’s what we know about the phone so far.

According to the latest update by tipster Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd on X, the Xiaomi 18 Pro with model number M154FF has been spotted on Geekbench with Qualcomm’s next flagship chipset. The listing suggests that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro carrying the model number SM8975.

The leaked Geekbench listing shows an eight-core CPU configuration. It reportedly includes two cores clocked at 5.01GHz, three cores at 4.03GHz and another three cores running at 3.74GHz. The chipset is paired with an Adreno 850 GPU and 16GB of RAM.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro is also listed as running Android 17. On Geekbench 7, the phone reportedly scored 3,619 points in the single-core test and 11,842 points in the multi-core test.

Xiaomi 18 Pro – Rear Display Teased

In teasers shared on the official Xiaomi account on Weibo, the company showed the phone’s rear display with the word “Generating” in the centre. This rear screen will reportedly support AI-generated content directly on the phone and could go beyond wallpapers, widgets and simple shortcuts.

Xiaomi has also shared some numbers showing how users have interacted with the rear screen on its previous-generation phone. According to the brand, users interacted with app cards on last year’s rear screen more than 4 million times per day, while more than 3.5 million wallpapers were added to the display every day.

The rear screen on the Xiaomi 17 Pro also received additional features after launch including live wallpapers and interactive tools. The Xiaomi 18 Pro therefore appears to be continuing to expand the purpose of the secondary display rather than treating it only as a design element.

Xiaomi 18 Pro Design and Camera Details

The official teaser confirms that the Xiaomi 18 Pro will retain a horizontal camera module with a Leica triple-camera setup. The rear display is expected to cover most of the camera module, giving the phone a design similar to its predecessor.

According to DCS, Xiaomi has made some smaller changes to the design. The bezels around the rear display could be slightly thinner, while the front punch-hole camera may move to a different position. The phone is also said to feature a new physical button on the frame.

Earlier leaks had also claimed that the rear screen could become larger and gain a privacy mode. This was said to be similar to the privacy display technology Samsung shipped with the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Since the launch in China is in a couple of weeks, we can expect Xiaomi to soon tease more features of the upcoming numbered series.
