Xiaomi has officially confirmed the India launch date of the upcoming Xiaomi 17T smartphone. The device is scheduled to debut in the country on June 4, marking the return of Xiaomi’s T-series smartphones to the Indian market after several years. The announcement comes soon after the company began teasing a new T-series device in India with the tagline “The T is coming”.

Globally, Xiaomi is expected to introduce two models in the lineup named the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro. However, reports indicate that the Pro variant may remain exclusive to global markets and might not launch in India.
Xiaomi 17T Series Design and Colour Options Teased
Xiaomi has also revealed on X that the Xiaomi 17T series will arrive in two display variants. The smaller model has been confirmed in a Violet colour option, while the larger variant will be available in a Deep Blue finish. Despite the difference in size, both smartphones appear to share the same overall design language.

The devices are shown featuring a Leica-branded triple rear camera system housed inside a square-shaped camera island. An LED flash module is placed beside the camera setup on the top-left corner of the rear panel. Xiaomi branding is positioned vertically at the bottom-left side of the back panel. The phones are also expected to feature flat metal frames.
The power button and volume rocker are visible on the right edge of the smartphones, while the left side remains clean without any visible controls or ports.
Xiaomi 17T – Specifications (Expected)
Although Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the hardware specifications yet, leaks suggest that the Xiaomi 17T could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. The octa-core processor is tipped to offer peak clock speeds of up to 3.4GHz.
The smartphone is also expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery and may come paired with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM along with up to 512GB UFS 4.1 internal storage.
Reports further suggest that the Xiaomi 17T could feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and peak brightness of up to 3500 nits. The device is also expected to offer dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
For photography, the handset may include a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary rear camera with an f/1.77 aperture. It could be accompanied by a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with f/1.8 aperture and support for up to 5x optical zoom, along with a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera featuring an f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the phone is tipped to feature a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro Expected Pricing
According to well-known and reliable Indian tipster Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd on X, the Xiaomi 17T may launch in India with a starting price of Rs 59,999. The device is expected to be available in 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB storage configurations.
A separate leak from the UAE market claims that the standard Xiaomi 17T could be priced at AED 2,599, which roughly translates to around $708 or Rs 68,000.
Another leak suggests that the Xiaomi 17T may start at PHP 33,999 (around $553) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 512GB model could cost PHP 37,999 (around $618). Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is tipped to start at PHP 45,999 (around $748) for the 256GB version and may go up to PHP 47,999 (around $780) for the 512GB model.
In Russia, the Xiaomi 17T is reportedly listed at RUB 51,625 (around $725) for the 256GB variant and RUB 54,537 (around $766) for the 512GB option. The Xiaomi 17T Pro, on the other hand, is said to be priced at RUB 68,535 (around $963) for the 256GB variant, while the top-end 1TB model may cost RUB 81,861 (around $1,150).
While direct currency conversions may not accurately reflect final retail pricing across different regions, the leaks suggest that the Xiaomi 17T lineup could be priced between $700 and $1,100 depending on the model and storage configuration.
