A recent leak suggests that the upcoming tablet may feature an OLED display along with flagship-grade hardware. Reports also indicate that the device could arrive as a rebranded version of the Oppo Pad Mini, which was introduced in China earlier this year.

Compact OnePlus Tablet Specifications Tipped

Fresh information hints that the company may also be working on a smaller premium tablet equipped with an OLED screen.

According to a recent post by tipster Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd on X, OnePlus is planning to launch a compact tablet globally. The upcoming device is expected to feature an 8.8-inch OLED display with support for a 144Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the tablet may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which is expected to sit below the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in Qualcomm’s lineup. The leak further suggests that the device could use LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for improved performance and faster data speeds.

For photography and video calls, the tablet is tipped to include a 13-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It may pack an 8,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.

On the software front, the tablet is expected to run OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16.

Launch Timeline

In a separate development, tipster Debayan Roy @Gadgetsdata also posted on X claiming that the tablet could launch in India during the third quarter of 2026. However, OnePlus has not officially confirmed any details regarding the tablet so far, so the leaked information should be considered cautiously for now.

Interestingly, the leaked specifications are very similar to those of the Oppo Pad Mini, which debuted in China in April this year. Because of this, there is speculation that the upcoming OnePlus compact tablet could essentially be a rebranded version of Oppo’s existing device.

Recently, OnePlus even launched the OnePlus Pad 4 as its flagship tablet featuring a large 13.2-inch IPS LCD display and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
