Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to launch the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro in global markets soon. Ahead of the official announcement, a new report by Winfuture has revealed detailed specifications, pricing and official renders of both devices. Here’s what we know about the lineup based on recent leaks.
In terms of design, the Xiaomi 17T may come with a plastic build, while the 17T Pro is expected to feature a more premium metal frame. Apart from size and minor camera module differences, the overall design between the two models is likely to remain similar.
As for possible colour options, Winfuture report reveals have also published official looking renders of both phones.
According to the report, the Xiaomi 17T may also come in light blue, pink and black shades, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro could be offered in dark blue, black and dark pink finishes.
The Xiaomi 17T is expected to feature a 6.59-inch display with a resolution of 2756 x 1268 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17T Pro could come with a larger 6.83-inch display offering a resolution of 2772 x 1280 pixels along with a faster 144Hz refresh rate suggesting smoother visuals and better responsiveness on the Pro model.
The Xiaomi 17T may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. In comparison, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is tipped to run on the more powerful Dimensity 9500vv processor.
Both smartphones are expected to pack 12GB of RAM and offer storage options of 256GB and 512GB.
In terms of battery, the Xiaomi 17T is likely to house a 6500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. The Pro variant could take things further with a 7000mAh battery alongwith 100W wired charging and up to 50W wireless charging support.
For photography, both models are said to feature a triple rear camera setup including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, both devices are expected to include a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The Xiaomi 17T is tipped to start at 749 euros (approximately $935) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 17T Pro could be priced at 999 euros (around $1,170) for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model.
Based on detailed specifications and pricing leak, it appears the Xiaomi 17T will aim to be solid contender in the premium smartphone segment ahead of its anticipated global launch.
