The Xiaomi 15 Ultra hasn’t even launched yet but rumours about the Xiaomi 16 Pro and Xiaomi 16 Ultra are already making waves in China. According to a recent leak, these next-in-line flagships from Xiaomi will share a 6.85-inch LTPO OLED display with a “2K+” resolution.
But that’s not the highlight, tipster Digita Chat Station shared in a Weibo post that the Xiaomi 16 series bezels will be thinner than ever. The report also hints that the bezels could be narrower than any iPhone’s while keeping a perfectly symmetrical look on all four sides. The display itself will be flat rather than curved.
If Xiaomi sticks to its usual schedule, we can expect the Xiaomi 16 Pro to launch in October, alongside the standard Xiaomi 16.
The Xiaomi 16 Ultra will likely follow about a year later. All three models should be powered by Qualcomm’s next-gen flagship chip, the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Moreover, the Ultra model will push boundaries in smartphone photography and we are excited to see how Xiaomi improves the camera features since it is already shaping up to be impressive in Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
