BSNL has introduced another budget-friendly prepaid plan packed with great benefits including unlimited calls, free SMS and high-speed data. With this new offer, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is stepping up its competition against private telecom giants like Airtel, Jio and Vodafone Idea making its services more attractive to users.
The state-run telecom provider is not just focusing on affordable plans, it’s also working hard to improve its network. BSNL has already installed 65,000 new 4G mobile towers and plans to expand to 100,000 soon ensuring better coverage and connectivity.
BSNL announced its latest prepaid plan on its official X handle. The plan is priced at Rs 347 per month and offers the following benefits –

With this plan, BSNL is making a strong push to offer cost-effective options for mobile users.
The government recently approved a Rs 6,000 crore package to help the telecom provider upgrade its networks and improve service quality. This funding approved by the Union Cabinet will also benefit MTNL users ensuring better connectivity across India.
In other telecom news, TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) is taking strong action against pesky marketing calls. New rules impose fines between Rs 2 lakh and Rs 10 lakh on companies that continue to make unsolicited calls with repeat offenders facing the maximum penalty.
TRAI has launched a new app called Do-Not-Disturb (DND) to help users manage these unwanted calls. This allows people to set their preferences for receiving marketing calls and take control of their communication.
