Xiaomi is all set to launch its flagship smartphone series soon in its home country China and starting today, the company has confirmed the launch date. As per the official Weibo post, the Xiaomi 13 series and the MIUI 14 will be launched on December 1, 2022. Meanwhile, the company has also confirmed the launch of the Xiaomi buds 4 and S2 smartwatch on the same day.

The much-awaited Xiaomi 13 series will be the first to ship with the latest MIUI 14. With the latest teasers shaded by the company, the upcoming smartphone is confirmed to offer an AMOLED flat display with a screen size of 6.7 inches, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and HDR 10+ support. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to feature the latest snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The benchmarking sites have revealed that the handset features the fastest processor with a clock speed of 3.19 GHz.

The Xiaomi 13 is said to run on the Android 13 operating system and packs a massive 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast charging support with a USB Type-C 2.0.

Talking about the camera, the Xiaomi 13 series smartphones are speculated to launch with triple camera setups with the combination of a 50 megapixels Sony IMX8sensor, with optical image stabilization.
