Vi 5G
5G services are highly anticipated especially in a hugely populated country like India where people are completely crazy about internet and are eagerly waiting for it to come up so they can try it out.
The likes of Bharti Airtel, Jio, Vodafone India (VI) are all set to roll out 5G services in the country. The decision was made at the recently held 5G spectrum auction where they all unanimously agreed to get going with the matter.
Meanwhile, VI is a step ahead of others in this matter as it has already started preparing its customers, which may imply that the company is all set to come out with the service sooner than others.
Vodafone is going ahead with the plan as it has already sent out messages to all its users in the Delhi-NCR region where it has claimed that their users can avail 5G services very soon without specifying when exactly that would be.
Needless to say, 5G services will give faster and more reliable internet connection to all its users. The list of cities whose citizens can avail these services in the initial stages include Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jamnagar, Pune, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Gandhinagar, and Kolkata.
Although it was earlier speculated that 5G services will be launched in the early week of August 2022 and later come out in October of that same year, the latest reports claim that PM Narendra Modi will launch 5G services on September 29, 2022.
