Vivo Y600i Images and Full Specifications Leak Ahead of September 30 Launch

Vivo appears to be preparing another smartphone for its Y-series lineup in China. The Vivo Y600i has surfaced on a China Telecom listing, revealing its design, model number, memory configurations and several key specifications ahead of its expected debut.

The smartphone carries the V2617A model number and is expected to sit below the existing Vivo Y600 Pro and Y600 Turbo in the company’s China lineup. Earlier certifications had already revealed 5G connectivity and 44W charging support for the same model number.

Vivo Y600i Launch Date and What We Know

The Vivo Y600i has not yet been officially launched by Vivo. However, the China Telecom listing mentions September 30, 2026, as the product’s market date, suggesting that the smartphone could be introduced in China around that time.

The phone has already appeared on Google’s supported device records alongside a Vivo Y600i AI Edition, with both models carrying the same V2617A model number. Earlier, the model also appeared on China’s 3C certification database with 44W wired charging support.

Vivo has not yet confirmed the launch date, pricing or availability of the Y600i.

Vivo Y600i Design and Images Revealed

Images from the China Telecom listing give an early look at the Vivo Y600i’s design. The smartphone is shown with a large display on the front and a rectangular camera module on the rear.

The listing suggests that the phone will be available in Sky Blue, Midnight Black and Starry Sky colour options.

The Vivo Y600i is listed at 169.55mm in height, 79.20mm in width and 8.69mm in thickness, with a weight of around 229 grams.

Vivo Y600i Display Specifications

The Vivo Y600i is listed with a 6.87-inch display, making it one of the larger-screen smartphones in the Y-series lineup.

However, the China Telecom listing does not reveal the display resolution or refresh rate. These details are therefore yet to be confirmed. More information about the panel, including its technology, brightness and refresh rate, could emerge closer to the launch.

Vivo Y600i Processor, RAM and Storage

Under the hood, the Vivo Y600i is listed with Qualcomm’s SM4450 platform, which is believed to be the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The platform is listed with a peak clock speed of 2.2GHz.

The smartphone is expected to run Android 16 out of the box.

For memory, the China Telecom listing mentions 6GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB storage. A separate 6GB + 256GB China Mobile edition is also listed.

Vivo Y600i Camera Specifications

For photography, the Vivo Y600i is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera.

The smartphone is also listed with an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

The available listing does not provide further details about the camera sensors, additional rear cameras or features such as optical image stabilisation.

Vivo Y600i Battery and Charging

Battery capacity could be one of the main highlights of the Vivo Y600i. The smartphone is listed with a large 8,000mAh battery.

The China Telecom listing does not mention the charging speed. However, the same V2617A model number previously appeared on China’s 3C certification database with support for 44W wired charging.

This would give the Vivo Y600i a larger battery than its predecessor, the Vivo Y500i, which featured a 7,200mAh battery with 44W charging.

Vivo Y600i Expected Price and Availability

Vivo has not yet revealed the official price of the Y600i. The China Telecom listing confirms 6GB + 128GB and 6GB + 256GB configurations, along with a 6GB + 256GB China Mobile edition.

The listing’s September 30 market date suggests that the phone could launch in China around the end of the month. However, Vivo has not confirmed whether the smartphone will be available outside China.

There is also currently no official information about an India launch or international pricing.
