Vivo has officially launched the Vivo Y600 Turbo in China as scheduled after teasing the phone for the past few weeks. The newly announced smartphone arrives as Vivo’s second-largest battery phone after the Vivo Y600 Pro. The phone packs a whopping 9020mAh battery with the typical capacity rated at 9000mAh. Here’s everything you need to know about the phone.
The Vivo Y600 Turbo is priced at 2299 yuan (around $339) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 256GB model costs 2599 yuan (around $382), while the top-end 12GB + 512GB version is priced at 2899 yuan (around $426).
Vivo is also offering an early sale price starting at 2099 yuan (around $308) along with additional national subsidies.
The smartphone is available in three colour variants including Dune Gold, Electric Blue, and Millennium Pink.
The Vivo Y600 Turbo features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2800×1260 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and delivers up to 5000 nits peak brightness. Vivo has also included support for 1.07 billion colours and 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for improved eye comfort.
Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset built on a 4nm process. The smartphone is paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. It uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage technology, while graphics performance is handled by the Adreno 810 GPU.
The highlight feature of 9020mAh battery capacity supports 90W fast charging and also comes with reverse wired charging support along with global direct power supply technology.
According to Vivo, the battery is designed to retain at least 80 percent of its health even after 1200 charging cycles.
Despite housing a huge battery, the Vivo Y600 Turbo maintains a relatively slim profile at 8.29mm thickness and weighs 215 grams.
For photography, the Vivo Y600 Turbo comes equipped with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
On the front, the device houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Vivo has added EIS stabilisation support for both front and rear cameras, while the rear camera is capable of recording videos in up to 4K resolution.
The smartphone runs on OriginOS 6 and offers support for 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It also supports multiple navigation systems and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
