Vivo is gearing up to launch its upcoming smartphone named the Vivo Y600 Pro in China. Before the smartphone can arrive in the market officially, details about its specifications including variants and colour options have surfaced online. The brand had recently teased the device showcasing a purple colour variant with a circular camera module housing a 50-megapixel sensor. It has also confirmed a massive 10,000mAh+ battery. Here’s everything else we know about the phone so far.
According to multiple listings spotted via XpertPick, the Vivo Y600 Pro carrying the model number V2561A has appeared on platforms like China Telecom, Geekbench and 3C certification. The China Telecom listing confirms the device’s branding for the Chinese market.
It has now been confirmed via multiple listings that the model will pack a large 10,200mAh battery making it one of the biggest batteries on a Vivo phone. The device is also confirmed to support 80W fast charging as per 3C certification.
Despite the huge battery, the phone measures 163.90 x 76.50 x 8.15mm and weighs 221 grams that makes it relatively slim and manageable for its size.
On the front, the Vivo Y600 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. For cameras, the device is expected to include a 50-megapixel rear sensor and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. It will also come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
In terms of performance, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek MT6858T chipset clocked at up to 2.5GHz. Geekbench data reveals an octa-core setup with four cores running at 2.50GHz and four at 2.00GHz paired with a Mali-G610 MC2 GPU. The listing also confirms 12GB RAM and Android 16.
The device scored 1,036 in single-core and 3,103 in multi-core tests. Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that this chipset will be marketed as the Dimensity 7300e.
As per the listing, the Vivo Y600 Pro is expected to debut in China on April 30. Additionally, the tipster suggests that an iQOO-branded version of the device may also be introduced later although there is no confirmation yet regarding its availability in global markets.
The Vivo Y600 Pro is expected to launch in multiple configurations including 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 8GB + 512GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB.
