Vivo has officially confirmed that the Vivo Y400 Pro will launch in India on June 20. The announcement comes shortly after a now-removed Amazon listing revealed key details about the phone. While Vivo hasn’t shared much else yet, leaks have already given us a pretty good idea of what to expect. Before confirming the launch date, Vivo also shared a teaser video with coming soon caption.

Vivo recently released promotional material confirming the June 20 launch date of the Vivo Y400 Pro model. The variant shown in the promo image is the Freestyle White model. However, reports say the phone will also be available in Nebula Purple and Festival Gold.
According to the Amazon listing, the Vivo Y400 Pro will measure 164 x 75 x 8mm and weigh 182 grams. It will feature a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness, great for outdoor use.
The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. Backing it is a 5,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging, which should provide plenty of juice with minimal downtime.
It’s expected to run Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 on top.
For photography, the Vivo Y400 Pro will offer a 32MP front camera for selfies. On the back, you’ll find a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS and a 2MP secondary lens.
Other features include a single speaker, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and AMOLED panel enhancements for a premium viewing experience.
Apart from Amazon India, the Vivo Y400 Pro will reportedly also be available on Flipkart and Vivo India’s official online store. The expected price is around ₹25,000 (roughly $290), placing it in the mid-range category.
