It appears Vivo is gearing up to launch a new Y-Series smartphone, the Vivo Y32. We recently reported that two Vivo Y32 models, both the 4G and 5G versions, have already received approval from SIRIM in Malaysia. Now, a new report has surfaced revealing more details about the upcoming smartphone including its first leaked promotional material and key features. Here’s what we know so far.
Vivo Y32 to Offer 8000mAh Battery and 6-Year Battery Health
According to a recent exclusive report by Passionategeekz, the first promotional poster of the upcoming Vivo Y32 5G reveals its design and some of the key features.
Based on the promo material, it is evident that the biggest highlight of the Vivo Y32 will be its 8000mAh battery. The leaked poster also claims that Vivo has designed the phone to maintain battery health for up to six years.
This could appeal to users who want a smartphone that can deliver long battery life while reducing the need for frequent charging.
Vivo Y32 Gets 1.5K AMOLED Display, Sony Camera and Durability
Among other details confirmed by the leaked image, it is revealed that the Vivo Y32 will most likely feature a 1.5K Infinity AMOLED display. Vivo has not shared the complete display specifications yet but the higher resolution should provide sharper visuals and text compared with a standard Full HD+ screen.
The smartphone will use Sony’s IMX852 sensor as its primary camera. Vivo is also highlighting the phone’s ability to capture brighter moments and support underwater photography.
The phone is also confirmed to carry an IP69 rating indicating a strong focus on protection against dust and water. Vivo says the Y32 has been designed to handle temperatures of up to 40°C along with high humidity.
The report further confirms that the Vivo Y32 will run OriginOS, Vivo’s software platform.
