Vivo appears to be preparing another addition to its Y-series lineup for the Indian market. Ahead of the official launch, an exclusive Xpertpick report has revealed the key specifications of the Vivo Y31T. The report also includes an image of the upcoming phone revealing the smartphone’s rear design. The leaked details suggest that the upcoming handset will focus on a large battery, 5G connectivity and a relatively slim build.
Vivo Y31T – Key Features Revealed
According to the report via tipster Sanju Choudhary @saaaanjjjuuu on X, the Vivo Y31T will come with a 6.75-inch LCD display featuring an HD+ resolution. The screen is said to reach up to 1,250 nits of brightness when High Brightness Mode (HBM) is enabled.
The smartphone is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and UFS 2.2 storage. The available information does not reveal the type of RAM being used but Vivo is reportedly planning three storage configurations. These could include 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and a higher-end 6GB RAM with 256GB storage option.

Battery capacity is expected to be one of the key highlights of the Vivo Y31T. The phone could feature a 7,200mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
Software duties are reportedly handled by OriginOS 6, although the specific Android version powering the device has not yet been revealed.
For photography, the Vivo Y31T is said to have an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The rear panel will reportedly house two cameras consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.
Despite the unusually large battery, the smartphone is expected to measure just 8.39mm in thickness. The handset could also offer IP66 and IP68 ratings for protection against dust and water. In addition, SGS certification is expected to provide another layer of durability assurance.
The smartphone is expected to be offered in three colour options including Crimson Red, Gold Mist and Seashore Green.
Vivo Y31T – Price and Launch
Vivo has not announced the price or even the upcoming phone yet.
According to tipster Sanju Chaudhary’s X post, the Vivo Y31T is an offline-centric model and could be priced between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000. The tipster also claims that Vivo has essentially taken the Vivo Y51 Pro and changed its chipset to create the Y31T.
At around Rs 25,000, the Vivo Y31T will be mainly positioned in the mid-range 5G segment. We can expect more details to emerge about the phone, its pricing and launch date in the coming days.
