It appears Vivo is set to strengthen its portfolio across both mid-range and flagship segments in the coming weeks. We already know that Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE will arrive in the Indian market next week and now reports are hinting at a new 5G smartphone in Y-series lineup as well. Here’s what we know so far.
According to recent reports (via TheTechOutlook), a fresh device identified as the Vivo Y31s 5G has now surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform. It hints that the official launch of this smartphone may not be far away.

The Bluetooth SIG listing reveals the model number “V2614” and it is associated with the Vivo Y31s 5G moniker. While earlier such certifications used to confirm details like Bluetooth version, recent listings offer limited information and this one is no different.
At this stage, the certification does not disclose any specifications or hardware details of the device.
It is also important to note that this is a different device from the older Vivo Y31s 5G (2021) that was launched in China back in 2021.
Apart from its appearance on the Bluetooth SIG database, the Vivo Y31s 5G has not been spotted on any other certification platforms so far. As a result, there is currently no information available regarding its specifications, design, or key features.
Additionally, the device has not been listed on the Indian BIS certification website yet, which means its launch in India cannot be confirmed at this point.
Previously, Vivo devices such as the Vivo Y51 5G, Vivo V70 Lite 5G and Vivo T5 Pro 5G with a MediaTek chipset were also spotted on multiple certification platforms. Now, this new Y-series model adds to the growing list of upcoming Vivo smartphones.
Meanwhile, Vivo is gearing up to launch its flagship smartphones the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE in the Indian market. The launch event is scheduled to take place on May 6, 2026.
