Vivo has added a new member to its Y300 series lineup named the Vivo Y300 GT in China. This model joins existing models of the series like the Y300, Y300+, Y300i, Y300t and Y300 Pro+.
The Y300 GT stands out with its 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset and a massive 7,620mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. Here’s more about the phone.

The phone features a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels and a 144Hz peak refresh rate. You get sharp visuals with 452PPI pixel density, P3 color gamut and DC dimming at all brightness levels. For eye comfort, the screen is SGS-certified for low blue light and flicker reduction.
In terms of cameras, the Y300 GT has a 16MP front camera in a centred punch-hole and a 50MP main camera on the back, paired with a 2MP depth sensor. It runs on Android 15 with OriginOS 5 on top.
Powering the device is the Dimensity 8400 chipset built on TSMC’s 4nm process. It comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The highlight is its 7,620mAh ultra-thin battery, the largest ever in a Vivo phone with 90W fast charging. It also includes a direct power supply mode, which helps reduce heat and wear during heavy tasks like gaming or streaming.
Other handy features include an infrared blaster, dual-frequency GPS, triple-frequency BeiDou, full-feature NFC and a “wet hand touch” mode for outdoor use. The phone is built to last with military-grade durability, high-resilience materials and strong waterproofing.

The Vivo Y300 GT is now available in China in two colour options, which include Storm Purple and Black Crystal.

According to reports, the Y300 GT is essentially a rebranded version of the iQOO Z10 Turbo, which launched last month in China. While both phones are almost identical in hardware, the Z10 Turbo uses LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, while the Y300 GT comes with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1.
