Vivo has officially revised the market operating price (MOP) of its Vivo Y21 5G smartphone in India. The updated pricing has come into effect from Monday, March 23, making the device slightly repositioned in the mid-range segment. The smartphone was officially launched in the global markets last month and is available in Indian markets via offline channels. Here are the details of the price revision.

As of now, this revision is expected to impact offline retail channels, giving buyers a clearer pricing structure across all variants.
As of now, Vivo has not specified any particular reasons for the price revision. This is not the first Vivo price revision in recent weeks. The brand has also revised the pricing of Vivo T4 Lite 5G and several models of Vivo Y19 Series Smartphones in India last week.
Keeping rumours aside, there can be several market forces at play here. It will be interesting to see if the plan will revise the prices of more models in the coming weeks.
In terms of specifications, the Vivo Y21 5G features 6.74-inch LCD touchscreens offering up to 120Hz of refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and packs a 6,500mAh battery with 44W charging support. Shipped with Android 16-based OriginOS 6, the phone comes with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
For optics, the Vivo Y21 5G carry dual rear camera units featuring QVGA secondary shooters. It comes with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
