Vivo, one of India’s top five smartphone brands, is set to unveil its newest mid-range smartphone in India. Vivo is yet to officially announce the launch date of the phone.
However, details about the Vivo Y100 5G have surfaced online, courtesy of the rumour mill. The latest report reveals the specifications, features and design of the Vivo Y100 5G. Marketing materials of the Y100 5G have also leaked online.
Separately, a leak by tipster Paras Guglani has revealed the price of the phone.

Vivo Y100 Price in India, Colour Options
As per Yadav, the Vivo Y100 price may be Rs 24,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant.
According to live images from the tweets of a known tipster we saw the colour has a shifting gradient finish, which gives it an orange hue under shifting natural daylight. The gradient finish is among the new finishes that rose in trend over the past two years, which now features in the Y100 as we.
The Vivo Y100 5G is said to launch in India with a single storage option. The device will have a launch price of Rs 24,999 in India.
According to known tipster, the phone will go on sale from February 16 in India.
The tipster also uploaded the live images of the phone, which show the colour options. The device will launch in Pacific Blue and Twilight Gold colour options.
The rear panel is flat and has two circular cutouts at the top. There is a triple-camera setup and an LED flash in the two cutouts. Next to the camera sensors, we can see the OIS branding for better stabilisation.
Vivo Y100 Specifications
The smartphone is also tipped to feature a 6-inch AMOLED display with HDR10+ certification and 120Hz refresh rate. On the front, there is a water-drop notch for the front camera.
The chin bezel is considerably thick too. We can also see the 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port at the bottom edge. The frame is flat and houses the power and volume buttons on the right edge.
Separately, a report by The Tech Outlook revealed that phone will measure 7.73mm in terms of thickness and weigh about 181 grams.
There will be an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance.
According to the report, the Y100 will also feature a colour-changing glass finish on the back. It will launch in three colours — Twilight Gold, Pacific Blue, and Metal Black. The leaked marketing materials show the device in its third Metal Black colour option.
The device will feature a 64MP main camera with support for optical image stabilisation. The phone is tipped to feature a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera will come with features like super night mode, bokeh flare portrait, multi-style night filters, multi-style portrait feature, vlog movies, cinematic videos and dual-view video modes.
Under the hood, there will be a Dimensity 900 SoC. The phone will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will also support 8GB of Extended RAM. There is support for storage expansion up to 1TB via a microSD card.
The Y100 5G will feature a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display will offer 1300 nits of peak brightness. Lastly, the phone will feature Funtouch OS 13, which could be based on Android 13.
