Vivo is set to launch its latest flagship smartphones, the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE, in India on May 6 at 12 PM IST. Ahead of the official unveiling, the company has already revealed key details via its microsites with details on design, colour options and core features. Notably, Vivo X300 Ultra was previously introduced in China in March giving users an idea of what to expect.
Now, just days before the launch in India, Vivo X300 Ultra retail box image has surfaced online revealing pricing details. Other than this, a new Smartprix Exclusive report has also shared details of ‘Shake & Share’ Files feature that is set to roll out with X300 Ultra and the X300 FE.
In a latest post on X, tipster Sanju Choudhary @saaaanjjjuuu has shared an image of what looks like the back side of upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra’s India retail box. The image contains several usual details that we often see on retail boxes such as in-the-box contents, manufacturer details, dimensions, model number and most importantly, the price.
According to the leaked image, the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant carries a box MRP of ₹1,99,999. However, tipster claims that the expected selling price is said to be around ₹1,59,999 in India.
As highlighted in the leak, “the Box MRP is generally higher than actual selling price.”
It is also worth noting that the kit will need to be purchased separately.
According to reports and the recent leak, Vivo X300 Ultra Indian version features a 6.82-inch 2K flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth and premium viewing experience.
The device is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with additional VS1 and V4 chips for enhanced performance and imaging capabilities.
In terms of photography, the smartphone is expected to offer a high-end triple rear camera setup. This includes a 200MP LYT901 primary sensor with a large 1/1.12-inch sensor size and f/1.9 aperture, a 50MP LYT818 ultra-wide camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and f/2.0 aperture and a 200MP HP0 periscope telephoto lens with 3.7x optical zoom and f/2.67 aperture.
On the front, the device is likely to feature a 50MP autofocus selfie camera.
The Vivo X300 Ultra is also expected to pack a 6,600mAh battery supported by 100W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. It will come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
In terms of design and build, the smartphone will be available in Black and Green colour options. The Black variant is said to measure 8.19mm in thickness and weigh 232 grams, while the Green variant could be slightly thicker at 8.49mm and weigh 237 grams.
Recent Smartprix exclusive report has highlighted Vivo’s new flagship-exclusive feature called Shake & Share.
According to the report, the feature is design to make proximity sharing between devices more intuitive and will be integrated directly with Vivo’s Origin Island interface.
With this feature, users would be able to simply shake their smartphone to initiate a search and not depend on Bluetooth radar search via settings. The smartphones will use a synchronised motion system to recognise devices that shake simultaneously. It will then populate a list of available connections. The feature will also allow seamless multi-user file distribution without the need for individual pairing requests.
As for availability, the new Shake & Share will currently remain exclusive to premium Vivo smartphones starting with the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra and the Vivo X300 FE.
More details about this feature along with final pricing and smartphone availability will be confirmed at the official launch event.
