The Vivo X300 Ultra is positioned as a device that aims to blur the line between a smartphone and a professional mirrorless camera. It features a large sensor setup along with support for modular lens extenders that targets serious photography enthusiasts.

The highlight of the X300 Ultra is its ZEISS Master Lenses Collection. Instead of relying on a single primary sensor, the device features three high-performance prime lenses. The 35mm documentary camera uses a 200MP Sony LYTIA 901 sensor with a large 1/1.12-inch size offering a natural field of view similar to human vision. The 85mm periscope telephoto lens also uses a 200MP sensor and includes gimbal-grade stabilisation with an f/2.67 aperture for steady zoom shots. Completing the setup is a 14mm ultra-wide lens with a 50MP LYTIA 818 sensor and a 116-degree field of view designed to reduce distortion and maintain edge clarity.

For extended zoom capabilities, Vivo is introducing physical telephoto extenders including a second-generation Ultra model that pushes the focal length to a 400mm equivalent. The camera system also supports 4K video recording at 120fps across all rear sensors alongwith 10-bit LOG video, Dolby Vision and real-time LUT support for advanced video workflows.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with 16GB of RAM and storage options of 512GB or 1TB. It houses a 6,000mAh “BlueVolt” battery with support for 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

The phone sports a 6.82-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display and comes with an IP69 rating for durability.

The X300 Ultra runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and promises five years of OS updates and seven years of security patches.

Vivo X300 Ultra – Price and Availability

Vivo X300 FE

The Vivo X300 FE is designed as a lightweight flagship with a strong focus on imaging. It features a triple-camera system comprising a 50MP ZEISS super telephoto camera, a 50MP ZEISS main camera and a 110-degree ultra-wide low-distortion camera.

This setup is aimed at handling a variety of shooting scenarios including travel and live events, while delivering accurate colours and sharp details.

The 50MP super telephoto camera supports long-distance photography and for the first time in the FE series can extend to a 200mm equivalent focal length using the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2.

Built on a compact Kepler-based optical design, this extender uses 15 high-transmittance glass elements arranged in two groups. It also reduces weight from 210g to 153g compared to the previous generation, improving portability without compromising image quality.

The X300 FE is powered by the AI True Clarity Engine, which integrates NICE 3.0 Optical Reconstruction Engine, MAGIC 2.0 Image Restoration Engine and Magic Cloud to enhance detail and texture in various shooting conditions. Additional features like Telephoto Magic 2.0 and GTR 3.0 optimisations improve portrait clarity delivering realistic skin tones, smooth tonal transitions and balanced colour output.

For video, the Dual-View Stage Video feature allows users to capture both the stage and their reactions simultaneously adding more depth to recorded moments.

Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform ensuring smooth multitasking and reliable performance for gaming and content creation. To maintain thermal efficiency, it includes an advanced VC liquid cooling system with a 4005mm² vapor chamber and high-performance graphite layers.

Despite its slim profile, the X300 FE packs a 6500mAh BlueVolt battery supported by 90W FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging. It also incorporates fourth-generation silicon anode technology and an intelligent energy efficiency engine to optimise battery life and charging performance.

The device comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance combining flagship-grade performance with durability.
